Community Involvement

Donations

Hands On! Discovery Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  We are unable to make monetary donations but do support other registered non-profit organizations with preference given to those in the education field.

Non-profits may request a donation of passes for one fundraising event per year.  Please send a written request to sarah@visithandson.org and include:

  • Name of the organization
  • Contact name and address for the non-profit
  • Date of the event
  • Description of the event (carnival, auction, raffle, prize drawing, etc)
  • How any funds raised will be used
  • A link to a website or social media page advertising the event (or scanned flyer, letter, etc)

Please allow at least two weeks for your request to be reviewed and passes to be mailed to the contact name and address provided.

Other Ways of Support

The Discovery Center supports other regional charities on a case-by-case basis.  Examples of past support include serving as a drop off point for the Washington County Animal Shelter and Toys for Tots Christmas Toy Drive.
