Prices & Payment Info

Your admission ticket is valid for the full day. Additional programs are available for $3.00 each or both for $5.00, when purchased together.

  • A showing of The Tesla Experience – an electrifying, one-of-a-kind experience that honors the great inventor Nikola Tesla. This unique exhibit features a 200,000 volt musical Tesla Coil! Shows are held at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, and 4:30pm daily.
  • Paleo Tour – Get a guided in-depth tour that includes an up-close view of the dig site.  Tours are held at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm, weather permitting.

We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.

Guest passes are available for purchase at the above prices that can be used at a future date.

Discounts & Coupons

We offer the following discounts on our admission prices:

  • Teachers receive free individual admission with a valid school ID or homeschool certification
  • AAA members receive $1 off each admission
  • Senior citizens receive $1 off their individual admission
  • Individuals with a Military ID received $1 off admission
  • ETSU students and faculty receive free individual admission with a current ID

Discounts are not transferrable and only one discount or offer may be applied to each ticket.

• Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 5pm
• Sunday 1pm – 5pm
• Monday 9am – 5pm during March, June, July & August only

Please allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fully enjoy and explore all of our exhibits and activities.

Holiday Closings:

We are closed New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  We are also sometimes closed for fundraisers, please check our events calendar for additional holiday or other closings.

Snow Schedule:

Please check our Facebook and Twitter accounts to stay up to date on closings during inclement weather. We will post any schedule changes as soon as they are made.
