Evening Star Party – New Moon

April 5, 2019 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Join us for some out-of-this-world star gazing!  Take a turn using our Celestron NexStar computerized telescope or astronomy binoculars.  The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe other faint objects in the night sky since there is no moonlight interference. Weather permitting, stay tuned to social media for more information and for updates regarding weather.  Limited access to scopes and binoculars based on attendees.  Admission is $3 per person ages 4+, under 4 are free.  Exhibit spaces are closed during this event.  Made possible in part by TVA.
