Evening Star Party – Blue Moon

Join us for some out-of-this-world star gazing!  Take a turn using our Celestron NexStar computerized telescope or astronomy binoculars.  The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This rare calendar event only happens once every few years, giving rise to the term, “once in a blue moon.”  Weather permitting, stay tuned to social media for more information and for updates regarding weather.  Limited access to scopes and binoculars based on attendees.  Admission is $3 per person ages 4+, under 4 are free.  Exhibit spaces are closed during this event.  Made possible in part by TVA.
